The History

Davey had two decades of art business publishing and trade show experience before launching Art Marketing News, which coincided with the publication of How to Profit from the Art Print Market, his first book of six art business books.

The Why

The grand vision is to improve the world by inspiring artists to live their dreams and share their art with humanity. I believe enabling artists to live in harmony with their chosen creative life is alchemy.

Art Marketing News’s mission is to help artists find and follow a path to a satisfying experience in the art business and encourage them to live their best artist life because they get better together… by a lot.

My mom was a talented artist who was too busy being a widow and raising six kids to think about quitting teaching to become an artist. She would have loved that, and every artist I help is an ode to her inspiring so many second-grade students and me to love art.
