Politics and elections create elaborate, exhausting confusion on both sides. This year’s election took a toll on everyone who cared about the outcome. Things are going to change. As Dorothy said, “We’re not in Kansas anymore, Toto.” And you can’t run off to “Your Own Private Idaho” either.

Now that it’s over, we’re all waiting to see what will happen. In the meantime, it’s vital to take care of yourself. Intentional self-care has never been more urgent, regardless of who you supported in the election.

This advice also aligns with my broader mission to help artists on a holistic level that transcends traditional marketing techniques. While I still value those strategies, I’m now integrating ways to enrich artists’ lives at a deeper, more meaningful level.   • Hi Barney, thanks for your health article and I hope you are in good health yourself. I am exhausted and have taken most of the summer off to rejuvenate. However I should have waited until after the election to do that. My exhaustion dates from 2016 through COVID, the economy and environmental issues and another election. We have had 8 years + of struggle, worry, anxiety and the fear of not knowing where this will end. And each year it seems to get more complicated.
    I do try to take care of myself by walking, exercising, gardening and reading but I have to admit that it really hasn’t been enough lately to make me feel hopeful that our lives will ever be less chaotic and so disjointed.
    Hoping that we can all find some peace soon.
